I was there, in the grandstand. It was nearly a riot due to dissatisfaction with the referee and his decisions. Did you notice the 3 point tries, pushing in the scrums, 4 tackle rule, and a five yard rule for defending and attacking sides. They also used a leather ball and they could be slippery to hang onto. This game was the catalyst for banning cans at Lang Park. Holman, the ref, never came back to QLD again as far as i can remember.

I was riding around the edge of a pool when mikes with cigar in one hand picked my bike up with me still on it and tossed it in to the deep end 😂😂 I feel this is a better experience of his true strength than palming off Alf 😂😂😂
